Art Market finished last week at MICA and I sold my Pressed Posy jewelry there. Art Market is an event that only MICA alumni, faculty, and students can sell their art/crafts for a profit. Only 15% is taken from the artist’s profit and that money goes towards creating scholarships for under privileged students to help pay MICA’s (high) tuition.
I made more this year than I did last year, which is always a great thing! Look forward to a post on my updated Etsy site.

Updated site with new images from the MAT Thesis Show.
MAT Thesis Exhibition was a major success. My work has evolved and my installation is exactly as I wanted it (and could afford!) The show was up from October 21 – October 31, 2010 in the Third Floor Gallery, Fox Building at the Maryland Institute College of Art. MAT artists who showed as well were: Alexandra Arocho, Ajay Leister, Hannah LeVasseur, Meghan Lovett, Mai Luong, Mallory Porter, Amy Reid & Chase O’Hara, Melissa Schmid, Mgan Schneebaum, Kristin Stabin, Allison Thomas, Caroline Van Sicklin, and Sam Weinberg.

I got married May 29th of this year to Joshua Wayne Hendershot. My maiden name is Amanda Marie Stohl, but of course is now Amanda Stohl Hendershot. It was the best and the most fun I’ve had with my family. My mother, Brenda Bard, did a wonderful job as wedding planner and everything was so beautiful. Photos soon to come!

Sent out the postcards to my Senior Thesis Show! I sent them out very late, but at least friends and family have a postcard to keep and they were invited! I think the postcard looks a little busy, but I felt I should show a taste of what some of the works is at the show.
